Why I built this

I started Strana Factory because I wanted to eat food I could trust; made by people I could name, not brands I couldn't picture.

Mauritius is full of quiet, talented hands: bakers, cooks, growers, working in their own kitchens, often unseen. I wanted to build them a door.

So we made a simple promise: you ask, they make, you pick it up fresh. No waste, no middlemen, no noise.
